Floral Dresses

Well, It is officially spring time and with that comes the floral dress season. I was shopping online for some light summery casual floral dresses for casual daywear and I was spoilt for choice. Eventhough it’s not shown here, New Look and Coast do have a very nice collection as well. However, you have to be prepared to pay a bit more for Coast dresses.
I especially like the Lipsy collection; with a wide range of day to night florals. Great choice if you’re looking for that perfect floral dress for a spring/summer wedding.
I bought the ASOS floral halterneck dress (far right in pic) for a colleague’s BBQ in a couple of weeks. Top it up with gold strappy sandals and it’s a comfortable chic outfit. Not bad for £30.

The dress on each end of this pix looks very comfy n pleasing to the eye ! I usually stock up in SG bec those sold in my little town r very ex – 80 euro n abv, bec the season is so short ?
I hv sisters n sisters-in-laws who r shopaholic – they know where to get trendy stuff with value for money. We found light dresses (yeah, SG is too hot for me since I live in europe) at various malls for S$ 5 – S$ 12 !!! Dirt cheap lah ! Sometimes I wished I had paid attention to dress making when I had the opportunity .. but then, buying it like most of us do in SG, is instant satisfaction, dont u agree ?
Hi Dutchie,
Yes I totally agree about the satisfaction you get from buying a dress…The dresses are dirt cheap in SG and I do stock up loads when i go back home. Especially the great hangouts like Far East Plaza which still has my favourites shops since I was 16!
