The reason why it's brown is cause of the soy sauce. I tend to put a bit more than normal cause the little chicken wings don't give the rice enough "chicken stock" flavour. Looks good though. Did you use brown rice? There seemed to be a tinge of brown in your rice or was it the lighting perhaps? I rely on Prima Taste's chicken rice pack.
