Hapit.co.uk was created in 2009 as a personal commitment to myself to have an outlet where I can explore being me and everything that came along with it. The word ‘Hapit’ has no official meaning; it’s simply a childhood name my parents call me and still do till this day.

I am a 25-year old Singaporean living in the UK. I hold a full-time job and come home to a lovely man whom I refer to as J here. On weekends, I’m either sitting in front of my laptop tweaking this site, shopping, meeting up with family and friends, DIY, trying out a new recipe, having the odd leg wax, snapping pictures or simply curling up on a sofa with a nice cup of tea (maybe some chocolates) and a good book.

I’m not quite sure how this site will evolve. Should it be an online journal? A photo blog? A food blog? I’m not sure. But whatever it is and whatever it turns out to be, it’s still just one thing…bits and pieces of my life.
